1. Introduction
GeraJobs is operated by Gera Services (registered in England and Wales). These Terms govern use of gerajobs.com and our mobile applications by job seekers and employers.
2. Our Services
GeraJobs is a local job marketplace connecting job seekers with employers for full-time, part-time, freelance, and remote roles. GeraJobs is an intermediary — we facilitate introductions but are not a recruitment agency or employer. Employment contracts are directly between employer and candidate.
3. Job Seeker Terms
- Minimum age 16 (must comply with applicable child labour laws for under-18s)
- Provide accurate CV, qualifications, and work history information
- Do not misrepresent your right to work in the relevant jurisdiction
- You consent to your CV and application materials being shared with employers you apply to
- You may delete your profile and CV at any time via account settings
4. Employer Terms
Employers confirm they:
- Are legally authorised to recruit for the posted roles
- Will not post discriminatory job listings (Equality Act 2010)
- Will conduct right-to-work checks as required by applicable immigration law
- Will comply with GDPR when processing candidate data received through GeraJobs
- Will not use candidate data for purposes other than the specific vacancy applied for, without further consent
- Will notify candidates of unsuccessful applications within a reasonable timeframe
- Are responsible for their own DBS/background check obligations for relevant roles
5. Prohibited Content
Not permitted on GeraJobs:
- Fraudulent, misleading, or illegal job postings
- Discriminatory postings (by race, sex, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, etc.)
- Job postings that are fronts for scams or data harvesting
- Multi-level marketing schemes disguised as employment
We remove prohibited listings immediately and may report to relevant authorities.
6. Payment Terms (Employers)
Job posting fees as shown at checkout. Payments via Stripe. Job posting fees are non-refundable once the listing is live. Subscription plans may be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
7. Equal Opportunities
GeraJobs is committed to equal opportunity employment. We monitor for discriminatory listings and will remove them. Employers using GeraJobs agree to comply with applicable employment equality law in every jurisdiction where they recruit.
8. Limitation of Liability
GeraJobs is not liable for employment decisions, candidate conduct, or the terms of any employment contract. Our liability is limited to job posting fees paid in the prior three months or £50 (whichever is greater). Consumer Rights Act 2015 rights are unaffected.
